DESTRUCTIVE TEST TO BE PERFORMED ON UNPLATED ASSEMBLIES UPON COMPLETION OF WELDING OPERATION-SAMPLING RATE TO BE AGREED UPON BETWEEN A123SYSTEMS PRODUCT ENGINEERING AND SUPPLIER

A)INDEPENDENTLY SECURE ALUMINIUM AND COOPER SECTIONS OF TEST SPECIMEN IN SUITABLE PULL TEST FIXTURE-SPECIMEN WELD ZONE MUST BE CLEAR OF ALL FIXTURING AND EQUIPMENT.

B)APPLY TENSION LOAD TO TEST SPECIMEN IN DIRECTION OF ARROW "T"

C)FIXTURE JAW TRAVEL SPEED SHALL BE EQUAL TO 15.0MM PER MINUTE

D)SHEAR FORCE ON WELD ZONE SHALL EXCEED 1000 NEWTONS AND NO FAILURE OF WELDED JOINT SHALL OCCURS

E)CONTINUE TO APPLY TENSION LOAD TO TEST SPECIMEN UNTIL SPECIMEN ULTIMATE FAILURE OCCURES

F)SPECIMEN ULTIMATE FAILURE MUST OCCURE IN PARENT METAL SECTIONS ONLY -FAILURE OF WELD ZONE IS PROHIBITED

4.ELECTRICAL EVALUATION OF WELDED JOINT.NON-DESTRUCTIVE TEST TO BE PERFORMED ON ALL UNPLATED ASSEMBLIES UPON COMPLETION OF WELDING OPERATION ACCORDING TO TP000270

5.PART TO BE PACKAGED SUCH THAT  NO DAMAGE MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF ANY MEANS OF SHIPPING
